Remittance of Fees
The fees should be paid in Swiss Francs (CHF) - clearly stating name and address - either by
bank transfer (free of charge) to UBS AG, Kloten, account No. 278-821.000.04 U (Otology
2000), by Eurocheque, or by credit card (Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, American
Express).
Cancellation
Refund of fees, less 25 % administrative charges, can be applied for in writing until Jun1 1,
1999. After this date no refund will be possible.
General Remark
The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to lodge damage claims against the
organizers should the holding of the congress be hindered or prevented by unexpected political or
economic events or generally by force majeure, or should the non-appearance of speakers or
other reasons necessitate program changes. With registration, the participant accepts this proviso.

An industrial exhibition of the latest products and trends of the industry will take place along

Hotel Accommodation
Hotel rooms in various categories have been reserved for congress participants. Please complete
the hotel reservation form and return it to AKM Travel AG in Basel by June 9, 1999.
Hotel reservation forms submitted after this date will be dealt with, however, reservation cannot
be guaranteed.
All reservations, changes or cancellations have to be made in writing and sent to AKM Travel

Arriving by Plane
There is a direct train connection from Zürich airport to the main station. The costs amount to
CHF 10.- (1st class) or CHF 6.- (2nd class). A taxi will cost approx. CHF 50.-.
Parking
The University Zürich-Irchel has its own car parking. Tickets can be purchased at the congress
secretariat.
Public Transport
The University Zürich-Irchel can easily be reached by tram. Take tram No. 9 from the tram
station "Bellevue", direction "Hirzenbach", or tram No. 10 from tram station "Bahnhofplatz",
direction "Oerlikon-Seebach", and get out at tram station "Irchel".
With their Final Program, participants will receive a public transportation ticket which is valid
for the city region from August 15-19, 1999. The costs are included in the registration fee. Lost
tickets cannot be replaced.
